This week was the regional qualifiers of the 7v7 national tournament, which saw our Year 5/6 football team represent North Tyneside. The St Bart's team showcased incredible skill and determination throughout the competition, losing only one game in a fiercely competitive group. Their strong teamwork and consistent performances earned them a commendable second-place finish. Unfortunately, they narrowly missed out on progressing to the next round due to the competition's format, which allowed only the group winners to advance. Despite this, the team represented St Bart's and North Tyneside with pride, leaving a lasting impression on the spectators and tournament organisers.
