Autumn 1, Week 4

This week, we have been having some brilliant empathic discussions and extending our vocabulary. In History, we have been focussing on the state of Germany after World War 1 and how this would have made German citizens feel at the time. We were also focussing on the first stages of the story of Moses in RE, and how he must have felt when he was told to go back to Egypt. 

To brighten up our Thursday morning, we were treated to our very own private brass concert. We listened carefully and celebrated our peers' progress and performance - we can't wait for the next one!

Autumn 1, Week 3

We have had a very exciting week this week, with so many of us taking part in the House Captain elections. The amount of time and effort everyone put into their presentations was wonderful, and everyone should be very proud of their efforts. When practising, the whole class were incredibly supportive, showing what a brilliant team Class 6 are!

Autumn 1, Week 2

In Science, we have started our new topic, Light, and have looked at how all the parts of our amazing eye work so we are able to see objects. To celebrate them, we took out our sketching pencils and created some beautifully detailed drawings!

Autumn 1, Week 1

Well what a brilliant start to the new year we have had! We have enjoyed catching up with each other about our summer holidays, settling in to our new surroundings. We have particularly enjoyed starting the Class 6 toast tradition by busting the myth that toast always falls buttery side down, enjoying a fresh slice after a hard day's work!
