Dear Families and Friends,
What a magical week we have had! Not only did Martin entertain us with some amazing magical maths but the children have also been performing their mathmagical tricks to each other – and, possibly, to you.

Some were worried that the day would just be full of sums and paper problems, but everyone was surprised at how much fun we all had, and how amazing maths can be. Our minds were truly blown at times.
That's what we hope all of our children will see – no part of primary education should be dry and boring. Everything should be full of wonder and enjoyment, stimulating curiosity. We all must make sure that our children see the value of learning as a life-long endeavour. Thanks again to our PTA for this.
The rest of our clubs begin this week. We want our children to be fully involved in wider school life, and these clubs are designed to add value to our core curriculum. There are still a few spaces left in some clubs, so please look at School Gateway for the options available.
To find out more about what goes on in school, visit our Class Pages every week.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Restall & The St Bart’s Team
