St Bart's News

The latest information about school and our community.

Dear Families and Friends,

The Mavericks - Quiz Night Winners 2026

What a fantastic evening we had at this year’s PTA Quiz Night! Held at St Bartholomew’s Church, it truly brought our community together. Congratulations to The Mavericks for taking the top spot - but really, everyone was a winner on a night filled with laughter, teamwork, and a healthy dose of friendly competition. Events like this remind us how special the partnership between church and school is, rooted in our shared history and faith.

A gentle reminder that our Annual Easter Egg Competition entries should be brought in on Monday or Tuesday. We can’t wait to see the creativity that always fills the Teaching Hall at this time of year! Families are warmly invited to view the eggs on Wednesday at 3pm, where the PTA will also be providing some light refreshments. The children can then be collected as usual and proudly show off their brilliant creations. We’re sure it will be an egg-stra special afternoon!

Our Easter Service will take place on Tuesday morning at 10:30 am, and all parents and carers are very welcome to join us at church. The service will include songs, a short drama, and a message from Father Ben as we reflect on "The Passion", the ultimate meaning of Easter and the hope it brings. It’s always a wonderful moment to pause together and celebrate. As Philippians 4:4 reminds us, “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice!”

Please note that there will be no clubs running this week unless you have been notified separately. Our new clubs will start in the summer term, though not during the first week (with the exception of Star Strike Soccer for those who have already signed up.)

As we approach Maundy Thursday and the Easter break, let us take time to reflect, give thanks, and enjoy the sunshine. May this Easter time be filled with peace, joy, and the hopeful promises of God.

Yours sincerely,
Mr Restall & The St Bart’s Team
