Dear Families and Friends,
The first week of the summer term has got off to a flying start, and it was a joy to see the sunshine with us as the new term began. This week, two new members of staff, Mrs Lunn and Mrs Croft, joined our Early Years team, just as work began on some long-awaited improvements to the Early Years outdoor area.
It is exciting to think about how this space will grow and how creatively it will be used by the children in the weeks ahead. In Early Years, creative and purposeful play should never stop. It is a joyful part of learning, and a reminder that children flourish when they are given space to explore, create and wonder.

The PTA also met on Thursday and has already made some exciting plans for the summer fayre. More details will be shared soon, and support from families will be greatly appreciated when the time comes.
Clubs will begin in the coming days, including a new music club for children in Years 1 to 4. Booking opens today on School Gateway. With even more plans to share soon, this promises to be another busy and rewarding term at St Bart's.
At the start of this new season, it is encouraging to remember the words of Psalm 92, that those who are planted in the house of the Lord “will flourish”. It is a lovely picture for school life too, as children and adults grow, learn and flourish together.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Restall & The St Bart’s Team
