Dear Families and Friends,

It is hard to believe we have reached the final week of the year, and what a joyful one it has been. We have enjoyed some fantastic sporting events, with great teamwork, determination and plenty of smiles on display. Well done to all who took part, you really gave it your best shot.

Our Celebration Service in church was a truly special time together. It was a gentle reminder of the importance of our school’s roots and foundation, and the values that shape all we do. Moments like these help us to pause, reflect and give thanks for the many blessings we share as a school community.

Back in school, the atmosphere on Friday was wonderfully calm. The children and staff spent time playing games, laughing together and simply enjoying each other’s company. It has been a lovely way to end the year, with friendship and kindness taking centre stage.

Our final worship assembly brought both joy and a few tears as we said goodbye to our Class 6 pupils. We reflected on the importance of focusing our attention wisely, showing our affections carefully and using our abilities well, all for God’s glory. As we explored Romans 12:4-6 together, we are like different parts of one body, each with our own gifts to use. Whether through a psalm, a song or even a familiar High School Musical line, the message is clear: we are stronger together because we are all in this together!

To our leavers, you will always be part of the St Bart’s family. We are so proud of you and excited to see where your next chapter takes you. Remember, you have all you need to shine brightly.

For those returning in September, our lunches are changing so please watch out for very important information coming your way about Aspens and "Swift Kitchen" over the summer.

St Bart’s truly is a distinctive family where special things happen every day. Thank you to our pupils, staff and families for making this year such a blessing. Now it is time to rest, recharge and enjoy the summer.
