St Bart's News

The latest information about school and our community.

Dear Families and Friends,

We've come to the end of another amazing school year at St Bart's. Thank you for all the support, kindness and encouragement you've shown throughout the year. It has been a truly special one, filled with memorable moments, joyful events, and real growth in the lives of our children.

I am incredibly proud of my staff team, who work with such dedication and care to serve our families. Their commitment to giving every child the very best opportunities, both in and out of the classroom, is something I see every single day. It is a privilege to lead such a hard-working and compassionate team.

I am also full of pride for our pupils. They are a constant source of joy, inspiration and fun. I love spending my days in their company. Their humour, creativity, and kindness are uplifting, and it is wonderful to watch them learn, grow, and support each other. These children truly are the citizens of our future, and we take seriously the responsibility of helping them build character, resilience, and confidence as they grow into who they are meant to be.

At our final Achievement Assembly, as well as declaring Addison House (red) the winners of both Sports' Day and the overall House Cup, I reminded the children of a powerful truth from the Bible found in Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” We believe deeply that every child has a purpose, and it is our shared role - as parents, carers and educators - to help them discover their gifts and develop a sense of aspiration and direction. More than just academic progress, we want every child to build happy, meaningful memories of their time at St Bart’s, from the very youngest to our wonderful Year 6 leavers.

A special “Thank You” goes to our brilliant PTA, whose time and generosity have added so much to the life of our school. From fundraising to fun events, your work has truly enriched the experiences we’re able to offer. The ice creams were also a real, cool treat on a hot, humid Friday!

As we head into the summer holidays, I hope every family finds time to rest, to play, and to enjoy one another. And as we look ahead to September, I hope we all feel a sense of excitement about the opportunities and challenges to come.

Thank you again for being part of this wonderful school community.

Have a safe and happy summer.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. Restall & The St Bart's Team
