St Bart's News

The latest information about school and our community.

Dear Families and Friends,

Welcome back after a restful half-term! Lent began while we were on our break, and as we journey together towards Easter, our worship times will focus on the question “Who is Jesus?” This season gives us all the opportunity to pause, reflect and draw closer to God. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for our school community to practise kindness, patience and forgiveness - small acts that make a big difference. As Jesus reminded us, “Let your light shine before others” (Matthew 5:16).

Parents’ meetings with class teachers take place next week. Thank you to everyone who has already booked an appointment. If you haven’t yet done so, please make sure you book before the end of the weekend so teachers can plan their time effectively.

Next Thursday, we’ll be celebrating World Book Day! This year’s theme is "Little People, Big Dreams". Children are invited to come dressed as someone who inspires them - whether a real-life hero, a famous explorer or a favourite author. Please remember that Class 3 will still be swimming on the day, so costumes should be easy to move in, and we ask that no face paints or hair products are used.

Get your thinking caps on! The ever-popular PTA Quiz Night returns on Friday 27th March at St Bart’s Church Hall. It’s a grown-ups-only evening guaranteed to be full of laughter, friendly competition and perhaps a few questionable answers! Tickets sold out quickly last year, so do buy yours soon to avoid disappointment.

Can I also remind everyone that there are a small number of parking spaces that should only be used by those who have a "blue badge". These spaces are close to the entrance so that those who have additional mobility needs can have safer access to the site. Thank you for always being considerate when using our car park and drop off zones.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and enthusiasm. Together we make our school not just a place of learning, but a joyful community of faith and friendship.

 Yours sincerely,
Mr Restall & The St Bart’s Team
