St Bart's News

The latest information about school and our community.

Dear Families and Friends,

This week, we moved to our new website and we really hope that you like it. There are further developments to come, but teachers will now begin updating our Class Pages and online homework reminders. Alongside MarvellousMe, these are great ways to share "all things St Bart's" with you and the whole community.

One of the key features we will begin using more regularly is the onine calendar. You can find a link to this on the Home Page, with the next few events highlighted, so you'll never miss out.

Please can we politely but strongly encourage you to make school attendance a top priority. We understand when children are genuinely poorly, but a great deal of important learning time is lost through lateness or skipping a day with a snotty nose. The Government have tightened up on expectations for schools, so we are monitoring this extremely closely and will be addressing any concerns very quickly.

Disco tickets have been on sale this week and are selling fast. Make sure you buy yours in plenty of time, ideally before the end of this coming week.

It was lovely having members of St Bartholomew's church congregation hosting our coffee morning for newer families. Thanks for coming.

Our boys' football team began their season this week too, with two really encouraging matches. Although the results weren't quite as we'd hoped, their determination shone through, and we are very hopeful for the coming months under Mr Hitchings' coaching. #WeAreStBart's

Have a terrific weekend.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. Restall & The St Bart's Team
