Here are some slides with the beginning of the story we have been reading with the children in school! Why don't you read through and tell me what you think is going to happen next!

Some RE from Mrs C! Hi Class 5, hopefully you watched the clip of The Good Samaritan in the previous work. You could find the story in a Bible at home if you have one. (Luke Ch.10, verses 25-37) What was the most important message from the parable?

Have a look at the ideas below, can you put them into order from the most important to the least important. You could design a motto/banner to put up in your room to help remind you to do this too! smiley

Troll

What have you heard about Trolls? What do you think they look like?  How do they walk? What do they sound like?  Can you write a description of a Troll? Be adventurous with your vocabulary!!

Next part of the story

The Power Point above is the next part of the story.  The Queen wants some help to find the trolls and see what they're up to.  The explorers are going to need a map! What would a map of this kingdom look like?  Why don't you have a go at drawing a map for this kingdom.  What kind of things would be on a fairytale kingdom map?

PE from Mrs C! Have a go at this challenge on Thursday 25th June at 10am. I'll be doing this with the children in the Key Worker bubble too!

Here's the next part of the story.  The adventurers are going into the forest on the Queen's mission to find out all they can about the trolls.  What do you think the forest would be like? What do you think they would see and hear?

Make a list of animals tracks you might see in the forest.  Perhaps you could explore gardens and woods near you and identify the different kinds of trees that are there.

Let me know what you find!
