Hello boys and girls! I hope you are having a lovely week so far.

Here is the next part of our Troll Hunter story with a few activities to follow.....I hope you are enjoying it!

Rainbow Circle Bubble went on a Troll Hunt! We made binoculars and found lots of trolls in our Early Years garden.

Hello everyone,

Can you believe that we only have 1 more week left of Reception?! I hope you are all looking forward to a lovely 6 week summer holiday and are excited to come back to school as Year One children! Mrs Billington and I have talked about how much we will miss you, but we have told Mrs Connolly what a wonderful class you are. She can't wait to be your teacher and to see you in September smiley I am sure you will all look very grown up when you come back to school.

We have now come to the end of Chapter 1 of the Troll Hunter story, so I thought it might be a nice idea to spend time thinking about your next class and your new teacher. Our activities will begin with an 'All about Me' theme, as I know Mrs Connolly would like to find out all about you! Here are some activities that you may like to try at home. Don't forget to keep practising your phonics and careful counting as well! Keep in touch and I will add a new post for you on Wednesday x

Using magazines, catalogues, etc, make a collage

picture of your favourite toys/food/colours/tv shows. take a photograph of it to share with your friends on our class page or on our blog.

Think of a question that you

would like to ask Mrs Connolly

about Year One. Can you write it

as a sentence? Share a photograph

of your writing.

Who are your friends in school? What do you like to play with together? Where is your favourite place to play?

Make a model of your house using craft, building toys or junk modelling. Don't forget to include who you live with.

Can you make a picture of you, using items from your craft box?

Why not tell Mrs Connolly an interesting fact about you!

Share the story 'The Cautious Caterpillar' on Twinkl with your grown ups

There are lots of nice activities and print outs available on this page that you may like to do, linked to the story.

Well boys and girls, we have come to the end of our time in Reception. Both Mrs Billington and I are very proud of you all. Thanks to everyone who has sent in work, photos and emails over the past few months. It has been wonderful to see what you have been doing at home.

We hope that you have a wonderful summer and I know Mrs Connolly is excited to see you in Year One in September.
Take care xxx
