I have uploaded the Year 3 and 4 Common Exception Words. Read the words with your child then choose six words to learn this week. After your child has learnt them ask them to use the words in sentences. 

Hundreds, Tens and Ones

 

 We have been learning  about 3-digit numbers. Have a look at the number below and ask your child what they can tell you about it. You could ask your child the following questions.

• Can you write the number in digits and words?
• What is the value of the hundreds?
• How many ones are there?
• Can you tell me a bigger and smaller 3-digit number?
• What would the new number be if I added 200?

In English we have been learning about conjunctions. Chose six conjunctions from the image below and  use them in a descriptive sentence. For example

It can be played online or you can download the app onto Apple or Android devices.
