Class 3
As part of our Chocolate Topic, Class 3 are reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. This week, we have interviewed four characters who found a Golden Ticket. Why don't you ask your child about these characters.
We are still reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We have written a paragraph about The Chocolate Room, and have described what you would find inside. Here are some of our suggestions:

Year 3 have been investigating the strength of magnets, using paper clips and a variety of magnets.

In History, we have been comparing Queen Victoria to Queen Elizabeth. Here are some of the things we found out:-
- Queen Victoria was 18 years old when she became queen and Queen Elizabeth was 25 years old.
- Queen Victoria was monarch for 63 years and Queen Elizabeth has been monarch for 69 years.
- Queen Victoria was head of state for quarter of the world and Queen Elizabeth is head of state for 15 countries.
- Queen Victoria had 10 prime ministers and Queen Elizabeth has had 14 prime ministers.
- Both queens got married when they were 21 years old.
- Queen Victoria had 9 children and Queen Elizabeth has 4 children.
Class 3 have had lots of fun with magnets. This week, they have worked hard and have made their own magnetic games.
