Please use TTrockstars to practice your times tables. Every Friday, we will be handing out certificates to the children with the most improved accuracy and the most correct answers over the past seven days. 

We are striving to encourage your child to foster a life-long love of reading not just as a necessity, but for enjoyment. As well as reading in class with the teacher, we expect your child to read at home. From this week, your child will bring home a book from their class and a reading record.

All you need to do is:

• Listen to your child read at least three times a week, even if it's just one page, one paragraph, etc.
• Give details, in the reading diary, of what they have read and either make a small comment or initial to show you've listened to them read. 
• Return your child's reading diary and book to school every day.
