Science - Design a planet (10.02.21)

Hi Class 5,

Sadly, this week we have come to the end of our Science journey through Space. As a final challenge, I would like you to design a planet. Take a look at the challenge below; I would like you to be as creative as you can. Remember to consider where your planet is in the solar system, what the climate is like, what its surface is made from and also think about the creatures that may live on your planet.

I can't wait to see your 'Out of this world' designs! Have fun creating Class 5.

Solar system poem

Today, I would like you to use your planning ideas from yesterday to write a poem about the solar system. Remember to include a range of poetry techniques: metaphors, similes, personification, repetition, adjectives.  All of these will help to bring your poem to life! You can illustrate around the edges of your poem.
