Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

Welcome to our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) page

We are a group of parents, carers and teachers on a mission to raise money to support the school. With the money we raise we can help to create fabulous memories for all the children at St Bart's. Whether this is through school trips, discos or Christmas fairs, it all helps to enhance their school experience. We also want to help and support parents and carers and we are looking at ways we can do this.

We recently re-launched the PTA and we are keen to hear your ideas about events or initiatives that we can run to raise funds. Equally, if you would like to make a donation please get in touch.

You can e-mail us at pta@stbartscofeschool.org.uk

How you can get involved

Supporting the PTA is a great way to meet other parents and carers and provides an opportunity for you to help the school and the local community.

Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • Look out for upcoming events and come along to support us.
  • Come along to a PTA meeting to contribute your ideas and creativity.
  • Volunteer at an event - help run a stall, bake cakes and help tidy up.
  • Donate - prizes for raffles, items for the tombola or financial contributions.
  • Can your workplace or business support the school in some way?
  • Donate second hand school uniform to be re-used by other pupils.

E-mail pta@stbartscofeschool.org.uk if you can help.

Our previous events

October half term disco

Another successful event organised by the PTA, thank you to everyone involved. There were lots of happy faces enjoying dancing away, playing games and eating hotdogs, what's not to like! Have a look at some of the photos below.

We are looking forward to our next event. If you want to help or would like to offer a donation for the Christmas Fair on the 2nd December please get in touch by e-mailing pta@stbartscofeschool.org.uk

St Bart's Summer picnic  July 2023

We were looking forward to our Summer picnic event which formally re-launched the St Bart's PTA. However, the weather had other plans, in typically British fashion the heavens opened meaning we couldn't enjoy a picnic out on our community field. But the rain didn't stop the enthusiasm of the PTA or the generosity of our parents and carers. We set up our stalls and games in the school hall and welcomed you inside.

You ate hot dogs, cakes and sweets. You played the bottle pull and the tombola and a few of you were lucky enough to take home some of the fabulous raffle prizes kindly donated to the school.

Thank you to everyone who helped set up, rearranged in the rain, ran the stalls, stayed and chatted, tidied up and counted the cash.

What an afternoon! We raised over £1000 which will go towards providing wonderful memories for all the children at St Bart's.

Here's to the next event!
